The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series in 2024. Their star-studded roster was led by Shohei Ohtani who had signed a free agent deal with the team in the offseason and proceeded to make baseball history by becoming the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a season. He was joined by another free agent and fellow countryman from Japan, Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Both would have prominent roles with the Dodgers as they beat the Yankees in five games for the title. Since 2008, Topps Baseball has been home to a variety of autographs highlighting the reigning World Series Champions. In 2025 Topps Series 2 Baseball, that included the introduction of Dual Autographs. A total of 13 different combinations of Dodgers players were on the checklist including Ohtani and Yamamoto. Also included were 1/1 Platinum parallels like the one featured here. The card comes in a sealed holder from Topps.
